I will never not love getting an email that says “we’re getting married in 1 month, will you photograph our wedding?!” Heck yes I will!! If I’m available then you better believe I’ll be there. Time spent planning a wedding ≠how magical it will be, and I think Teagan and Tim’s day is a perfect example. The magic is that you’re marrying your favourite person, not just every little detail and decor being curated perfectly. Love guys, loooooove!!! It’s beautiful.
You know that scene from The Vow where they sneak in and get married in the museum? Teagan and Tim’s ceremony gave the same vibes! Not that we weren’t allowed to be in the gazebo, but it reminded me of that scene because of how in love & how excited these two were this day and how spontaneous it all felt!! Since you can’t formally reserve the gazebo at the beach, Tim and his family showed up an hour early to Skaha Lake make sure no one else was occupying it.
It was simple and perfect (:
TIM WHEN HE SEES TEAGAN ðŸ˜ðŸ¥º
I quite literally have never seen two people radiant so much joy + smile so big at each other 🥲💛 from the moment Tim saw Teagan walking onto the gazebo, it’s like everyone’s smiles burst into flames.
Nothing but joy in this little gazebo on Skaha Lake!
Sneaking more kisses whilst signing and making it all official!
Dried lavender confetti thrown and bubbly sprayed, and it was good.
When I met Teagan and Tim on a video call, one of the first things Teagan expressed to me was that they just wanted to actually spend time together and be with each other. WE LOVE TO HEAR IT. You may be surprised, but unless you’re intentional about it, wedding days can go by so fast and you barely get to actually spend time with your new spouse. To Teagan and Tim, a walk on the beach with me nearby, en route to Tickleberries to share an ice cream was the perfect plan to spend time together before going to dinner with their family. The walk to Tickleberries was filled with greetings and high fives from their friends; a quick round of beach volleyball; so many congratulations from passerby’s, and they even let some ladies sitting on a bench choose their colour of ice cream to order!
PINK was the colour of choice for a raspberyy sorbet!
The ladies of the hour who chose pink!
And then some friends with some suspicious grins walked over…
…and ambushed them with the leftover dried flowers and lavender.
This man is pointing to me and laughing because some lavender blew over my way too, it actually got onto my ice cream… which turned out to be DELICIOUS. LAVENDER + RASPBERRY SORBET IS 👌
The joy of two people in love simply never gets old.
Congrats Teagan and Tim, you are absolute magic. It was a pleasure to document your wedding 💛
