So much love for Autumn and Austin and their laidback, fun wedding day! Woo!
When I met Austin, he was a tall 15 year old with a big smile, and he was one of the first friends I made in my new highschool. He became my trusty buddy and we spent many classes dissecting the things one dissects in biology class. Our friendship consisted of tea, rock climbing, and just plain ol good times.
Fast forward a few years, I hear about this girl named Autumn and that he’s planning to to ask her to marry him! We planned a surprise for Autumn… Austin would come to Kelowna where she was meeting a friend for a girls day, and he would tell her he’s “at the lake in Whistler with the boys” and even texted her pictures of his “morning coffee at the lake.” It worked! She was so surprised, Austin asked, Autumn said yes, and I got to photograph it.
On a beautiful spring day, Autumn and Austin gathered their dearest friends and their families at the family farm he grew up on. They fixed up the lean to, decorated it and collected chairs during their engagement to fill the space. The day was simple, but so intentional and every detail thoughtful.
I can’t wait for you to see this amazing day unfold… especially the moment Austin first saw Autumn. One of the most wholesome reactions. These two are the biggest gems 💛
