Welcome to wine country. No doubt the Okanagan is one of the most beautiful places in Canada to get married, and we’re so spoiled to have wineries with amazing properties, architecture, good food and wine of course, and amazing vistas sprinkled throughout the valley – from Osoyoos to Penticton to Peachland to Kelowna and Lake Country!
If you’re dreaming of celebrating with your family and friends surrounded by vineyards and lake views, the Okanagan has wineries with courtyards, glass houses, al fresco style, European style villas and architecture, even helicopter pad ceremony spots, and so much more. This place really is magic (:
Here you’ll find my favourite winery venues, listed from South to North!

See Ya Later Ranch
See Ya Later Ranch is tucked away on Hawthorne mountain in Okanagan Falls (15 minutes south of Penticton). The view is beautiful and varied; they have a bridal suite, and a big beautiful tent to party the night away. SYA offers dinner and bar service, tables, chairs, floor length linens, linen napkins, plate ware, cutlery & glassware.
The entry way to the reception tent is lined with these fluffy bushes with pink scattered through out. I don’t know what they’re called, but they remind me of something from Horton Hears a Who!!
Poplar Grove
Oh wow. Poplar Grove is one magical spot. Situated along the ‘bench’, right below the famous Penticton sign on Munson Mountain! Your ceremony spot faces the Okanagan Lake, and dinner is just steps away on the covered patio! Poplar Grove only accepts a limited number of weddings per year, so if you have your heart set on getting married here, please keep that in mind!
Bench 1775
Just down the road, this family owned and operated winery offers more panoramic views and multiple ceremony spots to choose from. Enjoy dinner al fresco style on the patio and have your first dance under the string lights!
OAK Estate Winery
No matter how many times I’ve been here, it’s always a treat (: OAK is one of my favourite spots in the Okanagan to photograph at – and you’ll love it too if you’re looking for a venue that you can spend all weekend at! OAK has a beautiful house that sleeps 18 and is perfect to relax and spend time with your family before wedding day, and to get ready in on wedding day. The ceremony spot is on the edge of a cliff, and you can choose to face your ceremony towards Kelowna, the mountains, or toward Penticton. Back up at the main building, your reception will be held on their large deck, and later into the night you can party away in the barrel room.
Fitzpatrick Winery
Fitzpatrick is truly a memorable place to celebrate your love and gather your loved ones. Just outside Peachland, you’ll be greeted with delicious bubbles, panoramic views (I’m sensing a theme here), rose bush lined cliffs, and a large patio covered by a beautiful glass ceiling. You can expect amazing food from the in house Restaurant, 19 Bistro. Please note, Fitzpatrick a very small amount of weddings only between May and August.
Cedar Creek Estate
The food, the wine, the architecture, oh my!! I love Cedar Creek for its unique to the Okanagan architecture and setting. The garden is the perfect ceremony spot, and for your reception, you’ll have the option of the adjacent covered pavilion or indoors at Home Block Restaurant.
Summerhill Pyramid Winery
Of course, we have the views, the wine, the food, all very good… but let me draw your attention to THE PYRAMID. You’ll enjoy a delicious dinner made with organic, locally-sourced ingredients at their on-site restaurant, with with award-winning wines produced right at the winery, photos down by the willow trees AND up by and in the pyramid. Pretty neat (:
50th Parallel Estate
If you’re looking for lavish and modern, 50th Parallel is the place to be. Ceremonies up on the Infinity Pad literally are incomparable to anything in the Okanagan! You can have cocktail hour up in the sun, or bring it down to the tank hall or crush pad. This massive venue is the best of the best. And seriously the best food I have ever had.
99 Rows
Say hi to 99 Rows!! The newest wedding venue in the Okanagan! I’m so excited for this incredible family owned and operated venue – the Alfred family has worked so hard to bring life to this property with their unique glasshouse and rows and rows of lush vineyard. This unique space is a very exciting addition and I cannot wait to document you celebrating here!
