Intimate Fall Elopement at Kalmalka Lake

Amy & Chris met 17 years ago in college, they were the best of friends, but never a couple. This season of college came to an end and they both went their separate ways. Fast forward to December 2018, Amy and Chris are reunited and with the help from some very special wingman friends. They fall in love.⠀
⠀
This summer, Chris, with the help of his + Amy’s boys asked her to marry him. Amy moved to Kelowna to start a new adventure with Chris.⠀
⠀
In October we had the honour to document them say “I do” twice. We started at Bertram Creek, surrounded in a circle by their 3 sons + 50 of the most important people in their life, we cried, we laughed, there was a huuuuge group hug.⠀
⠀
We made our way to Rattlesnake Point in Vernon and for a second time, @mikepennington orchestrated a beautiful ceremony. Vows were repeated, we cried and laughed again, Amy and Chris hugged and kissed and danced.⠀
⠀
Amy & Chris, thank you for trusting us to preserve this day with photographs and videos. I can’t believe we got to do everything twice. No, it wasn’t repetitive, it made it 100 times more magical to be able to take it in a second time in a quiet and intimate setting, to remember all the moments you were to nervous to remember the first time. We’re so thrilled for you and your new adventure together!⠀

Holding in tears seeing your dad marry the love of his life:

The most precious moment Chris & Amy making vows to each others children ♡

Bertram Creek in the fall is a beaut.

Still not over this beautiful day.
