Emmanuel & Kenzie get married // Queen Elizabeth Park + Braid Studio Wedding

I’m writing this a year and a half after after this wedding, because I’m re-uploading to my new website/new blog and the world is currently in chaos and we’re all quarantined at home. Hello from my couch!

1.5 years later, I don’t remember all the itty bitty details but I do remember this being the best, most smiliest, most sunshiniest, most fun, most beautiful fall day with Emmanuel and Mackenzie. Also, there were two parties in one day, sooo that’s pretty cool.

Queen Elizabeth Park in the fall is a wonderbucket of colours 😍

Dresses made for twirling are on the top of my list.

Hit up John the groomsman if you need a really excellent leaf confetti thrower.

One of my favourite moments of the day was here when Emmanuel thought it was time that he “may now kiss the bride,” but indeed it was not! Everyone was very amused.

Finally, he kissed the bride!

Party #1 was a partyyyyy. We were greeted by a dancing line of Emmanuel’s aunts, cousins, sisters wearing the most beautiful and colourful outfits. It was epic and I will never forget it and I still to this day listen to that song.

Delicious Nigerian food 😋

Party #2 was the definition of cozy + elegance. Braid 100 Studio is the perfect spot in New Westminster for a small reception with charming industrial but homey vibe. I’m in love.

These guys new how to play a wedding game or two.

The dancing was very good, very groovy, and I’m so excited for the day where people can gather again and dance their bums off.

Shoutout to these incredible teams + individuals who made this day happen!
